Dr. Germaine’s experience in this office actually started when he was 9 years old.  His parents brought him to see Dr. Raabe for a spinal check-up after many spills off his BMX bike.  Little did he know that this first experience would change his life in so many ways. The first change was in his health – they had no idea that chiropractic treatments could affect more than your back, but shortly after starting treatments, his asthma resolved!  He knew right then that he wanted to be a Chiropractor.

His health education began with studying Exercise Science at UBC while playing football and rugby.  He then chose to study at the world-renowned Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in England. Here he completed a Bachelor of Science degree, as well as a Master’s degree in Chiropractic.  While studying he had the opportunity to work as a Research Assistant on cutting edge spinal research.

To gain valuable experience he worked with some of the top Chiropractors in London.  This allowed him to learn from world-renowned experts in rehabilitation, neurology, nutrition, sports injuries, pregnancy and treating children.  As an avid athlete, he enjoyed being able to work with professional rugby and soccer players, learning that the right advice and treatment can make a difference in each individual’s level of performance.   Dr. Germaine combines his treatments with teaching functional movements to help patients improve posture, performance and prevent injuries on the job, in the gym or in the game of life.

After 9 years in the UK, Dr. Germaine is happy to be raising his family and continuing his passion for Chiropractic in his home town of Abbotsford.   His practice continues to be committed to excellent patient care using the latest advances in technique and health education.
